DIALING
PATTERN INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE IRIDIUM SYSTEM
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To
better understand the dialing instructions that follow below, it must first be
understood that the Iridium System is an international satellite telephone and
paging network with it's own unique country code of "881" that is
built into every 12-digit Iridium phone or pager number issued.
For
example, a typical Iridium phone number such as 8816-3101-XXXX includes the
country code of 881 within the phone number. For this reason, when dialing to
an Iridium phone or pager, it is not necessary to dial the country code for
the location of the Iridium phone or pager you wish to reach.
