One
interesting example is a turn-key project completed 100 miles off the coast of
Africa. The rig installation combined an Intelsat Station, Inmarsat Terminal,
HF-SSB-ARQ, two-way radio with phone patch, PBX, Marine VHF, air to ground,
helicopter beacon, power conditioning and UPS System. This site was linked via
single side band with ARQ to two support shore bases that were similarly
equipped with the exception of satellites. The system was assembled and tested
in our shop in Houston and then installed at the sites by our field
technicians.
